Finally! The trails are drying up!

Over 25 avid equestrians have already joined or renewed their memberships to the CFSO, and it’s not too late to come on board! Membership entitles you to ride kilometres of the area’s most beautiful trails, and provides you with a great opportunity to meet and ride with other trail enthusiasts.

Activity on the trails got off to a slow start this spring due to the extreme wet and muddy conditions, but now that things are drying up, several small groups of riders have enjoyed some wonderful outings with the recent good weather.

One of this year's goals is to encourage riders to take to the trails outside of organized club trail rides. This will enable members to take advantage of good weather and organize small groups to ride without planning weeks in advance. To make this easier we will be working to improve trail markers along with on-going trail maintenance.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank its outgoing President, Céline Daignault, Vice-President, Marcel Beaulieu and Treasurer, Lucie Angers, for their dedication over the past years, and announces the election of its new President, Jean-Louis Desranleau, Secretary/Treasurer Danielle Daneau, and new Board member Helga Sermat.

We will be hosting a ride followed by a BBQ on Sunday, June 26th. Please check the activities page for details.
